BIKES!!

As awesome as the fireworks were the other night, the mass biking group was the best part of the night for me!! The best thing about it was the absolute surprise. A night bike ride with lights and hundreds of people... YES PLEASE!! The people were all so friendly. There were adults and children. Everyone was just out to have fun and ride bikes! We rode from Belle Isle to near the Ren Cen and rode straight down Jefferson with all the traffic for the fireworks. It was an incredible experience to ride with hundreds of people through a city and not have to worry about cars running you over. We didn't even stop and red lights, rolled right through. Some lights the police even stopped traffic for us. I HIGHLY recommend biking to Belle Isle for the fireworks next year!!!
